The People Lead will play a pivotal part in managing the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations and learning and development to driving HR projects that align with our strategic goals.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee day-to-day employee relations, including managing formal processes, providing support to employees and managers, and addressing employment-related issues.Handle complex employee relations casework, including dispute resolution, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, retirement, and redundancy processes.Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers, ensuring best practices are followed in staff management across the company.Support the planning, execution, and enhancement of the company’s Learning and Development programs, as well as health and wellbeing initiatives.Participate in the design and implementation of HR projects, procedures, and guidelines that align the workforce with the company\’s strategic objectives.Ensure all company policies are up to date and compliant with current employment legislation.Support the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, drafting contracts and HR communications, managing contractual changes, performance management, and offboarding.Assist in the development, monitoring, and improvement of HR systems and procedures across the organisation.Serve as the primary point of contact for PeopleHR system queries and general HR-related inquiries.Work collaboratively with the team to promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation.Assist with monthly payroll activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.Provide support on various HR projects, ensuring the business remains compliant with all people-related matters.PROFILE & KEY SKILLS4+ years in a similar HR role, with a strong background in employee relations and HR management.Excellent understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices, with the ability to explain employment legislation clearly.Strong planning, organisational, and project management abilities, ensuring efficient handling of multiple tasks and initiatives.Exceptional communication and mediation skills, capable of resolving conflicts and facilitating productive discussions.Highly resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling pressure and meeting tight deadlines.Proficient in IT, with strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office 365 software.(Please note this is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be required to perform additional duties to fulfil the requirements of the role)BENEFITSStaff discountsTrainingHealth & Wellbeing support (includes Private Medical Health Insurance, EAP, Gym Discounts, Access to Financial Planning Service, etc.)Perkbox membership: access to a wide range of perks, discounts, and wellness resourcesCycle to work schemeGenerous annual leave allowancePension SchemeOpportunity to develop new skills and progress in your careerOpportunity to work for a company that cares and believes in its people and the environmentVivienne Westwood is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
