P&C ManagerLocation: Stoke on Trent, ST1 5PZHours of work: 37.5Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract | 9 monthsWe are looking for a P&C Manager to join our supportive and open team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.This role offers the chance to make a real difference in shaping the employee experience, while being part of a team that values honesty, support, and above all, happiness at work.Job DescriptionIn this role, you’ll work closely with managers to advise on people practices, helping to build and maintain positive working relationships across both individuals and teams.With a strong focus on employee relations, smaller restructures, and general P&C advice, you’ll have exposure to a wide range of issues and stakeholders, making every day varied and engaging.You’ll also partner with our Centres of Expertise to embed People Solutions within your business area, supporting change management, annual cycles, and centrally driven initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide policy and procedure guidance, coaching managers to reduce riskLead ER case management, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinariesSupport restructures and TUPE processes with Centres of ExcellenceLiaise with unions in collaboration with ER specialists where requiredImplement and embed people solutions and P&C initiativesGuide managers through hearings and complex employee relations mattersEnsure adherence to best practice and consistent application of policiesProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsProven management experience with strong people leadership skillsExpert in employee relations as a core strengthSkilled in change management and supporting organisational transitionsStrong character with resilience and confidenceBalances hard work with a positive attitude and a good sense of humourFlexible on sector or industry backgroundAble to engage, influence, and manage teams effectivelyThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
