Urgent Permanent Opportunity | Deputy Radiology Manager | Oxford

MedicsPro is supporting a client in Oxford who is looking to appoint a Deputy Radiology Manager (Permanent) in a busy multi-modality imaging department (covering 7 clinical areas/modalities).

This role is ideal for:

  • A Senior Radiographer ready to step into management
  • Someone already at Deputy level seeking a fresh challenge
  • Anyone wanting long-term progression in a high-performing department

What you'll be doing (mix of operational + clinical):

  • Supporting the Radiology Manager with day-to-day operational oversight
  • Staffing support and departmental coordination
  • Clinical leadership and maintaining patient care standards
  • Training & development of radiographers
  • Audit, governance, compliance & risk assessments
  • Radiation protection, H&S and infection control
  • Supporting new equipment implementation and service development

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Radiographer
  • Senior/supervisory/managerial experience
  • Strong communication + organisation
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

Interview: Ideally face-to-face

Start: ASAP preferred (but can wait for the right person depending on notice)
