About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Field Service, Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a field-based engineering role, enjoys variety, and wants to be part of a business with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Working across multiple sites, you'll play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and testing specialist mechanical systems, while also contributing to workshop-based assembly and testing when required.

About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys practical engineering and wants to keep learning:
- Background in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, HGV, or similar
- Experience working with mechanical systems, maintenance, or servicing
- Comfortable working with:
- Pneumatics
- Basic hydraulics
- Electrical components (basic level)
- Keen to develop skills in testing, calibration, and inspection processes
- Happy working in a field-based role with regular travel and overnight stays
- Open to completing training such as confined space entry and medical checks
- Willing to undergo background/security checks where required
Candidates from ex-forces or transferable technical backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
