Operations Superintendent📍 Location: London 🕒 Full-time | PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced maritime professional to join a dynamic Fleet Department as an Operations Superintendent. This key role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assigned vessels, supporting both commercial and technical teams across a range of global operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee navigation, cargo, ballast, and mooring operations for fleet vessels.Ensure compliance with safety management systems and international regulations.Attend vessels worldwide to supervise operations and monitor performance.Liaise with charterers, agents, and internal teams on operational matters.Support inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.Contribute to budgeting, personnel appraisals, and continuous improvement initiatives.What We’re Looking For:Previous sea-going experience as Chief Officer or above, must have sailed on chemical/oil tankers.Strong operational knowledge and understanding of shipboard practices.Excellent time management and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.Willingness to travel internationally as required.This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your maritime expertise ashore and play a vital role in fleet operations.
