Head of Project Delivery VacancyWe are hiring now for an experienced Operations Manager to head up our Project Delivery team. In this responsible and dynamic role you\’ll carry overall responsibility for the successful, on-budget delivery of our projects, from point of handover from Sales through to succesful installation.Location: Enderby, Leicester – this is an in-office role.Title: Operations Manager – Project DeliveryContract: Full Time, Permanent, Salaried.About The Role:In this role you will hold primary responsiblity for the successful, on-budget delivery of our projects, taking them from handover from Sales through to successful installation. We specialise in interior planting and green walls for workspaces and commercial environments, with almost all our work being in the B2B space.You will be responsible for the whole process, overseeing Project Management, Production, Warehouse, and Installation teams. It\’s a fast-paced business where we have to react quickly to our customers needs, and a calm head and quick mind are essential.As head of this department you\’ll be given scope to develop and grow it, and we want someone who comes with ideas and best practice, and that has a track record of implementing change. You\’ll need to be a great leader and a strong manager, be passionate about delivering a great customer experience, and most importantly of all, fit the culture of our team and business.Our products are often installed during the fitout phase of a office move or new restaurant opening, and awareness of this type of installation and industry is very useful.Key Responsibilities and Attributes:Manage and lead the entire Project Delivery team.Ensure the on-budget delivery of all projects.Member of the Management Team, reporting directly to the Operations Director.Help manage customer relationships and expectations when necessary.Be a hands on, lead from the front type person who gets stuck in.Assist, help and train your team on a daily basis.Implement improvements and change.Assist with HR related activity, inc. hiring, development, and performance management.Have a \’can-do\’ mindset and a drive to get stuff done to a high standard.Practical mindset, with experience of working in construction, fitout, or point of sale very useful.About Plant Plan:We\’re a family-owned business that are growing rapidly.
