We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead and scale core operational teams across Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Production for a high-growth company operating within the wellness and sports nutrition manufacturing sector both B2B and B2C.Role OverviewAs Operations Manager, you will lead a high-impact operations function—driving performance across production, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership and work alongside other supply chain stakeholders to ensure supply meets demand, operations run smoothly, and strategic targets are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning, forecasting, and quality control initiativesDrive continuous improvement across product output and consistencyOwn supplier relationships, sourcing, and cost negotiationsForecast demand and align procurement strategy accordinglyEnsure accurate stock levels across all sales channelsImprove SOPs, workflow automation, and efficiency across departmentsChampion Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement practicesEnsure operational compliance with H&S standards and legal requirementsLead safety audits, policy documentation, and training programmesMaintain food safety, labelling, and manufacturing complianceWhat We’re Looking ForExperience & Skills:Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or supply chain settingProduction Planning ExperienceProficiency with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite experience preferred)Strong team leadership and cross-functional management skillsBackground in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent communication, data analysis, and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environmentThis is a 5 days on-site roleSalary banding is from £40,000 – £50,000 + bonus and benefits.Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role.
