I am working with a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Oldham. They are looking to add a skilled Welder/Fabricator to their shopfloor team, due to continued growth and a strong order book. The Welder/Fabricator must have MIG or TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator
- Fabricate frames, supports, brackets, and assemblies
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Use fabrication machinery including saws, press brakes, drills, and grinders
- Complete finishing work such as deburring and surface preparation
- Support mechanical assembly and installation when required
- Carry out quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of the Welder/Fabricator
- Time served Welder/Fabricator or equivalent experience
- Strong MIG and/or TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience using fabrication and workshop machinery
- Good understanding of tolerances and quality standards
