OCR Solutions Specialist (AWS)

Location: Fully RemoteRate : Approx £200/ day Outside IR35 (Via ltd company)An exciting opportunity for an experienced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Solutions specialist to work with a leading consultancy on a new piece of work for a pharmaceutical client.Primary Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Deployment:Deploy and configure multiple OCR solutions on AWS cloud infrastructureEnsure proper integration with AWS services and optimal resource utilizationTesting & Evaluation Framework:Design and implement a comprehensive testing framework based on provided datasetsExecute systematic testing protocols for each OCR solution Performance Analysis:Collect comprehensive performance metrics for each solution Documentation:Prepare detailed comparative analysis of all evaluated solutionsCreate comprehensive technical documentation for setup and configurationProvide actionable recommendations based on evaluation findingsEssential Skills & Experience:Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure managementProven track record in deploying and configuring OCR solutions in production environmentsDeep understanding of traditional OCR technologies and methodologiesAdvanced proficiency in PythonWorking knowledge of LLM-based approachesStrong analytical skills for performance evaluationExcellent technical writing skillsAbility to present complex technical findings to stakeholdersExperience creating comprehensive technical reports
