Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner on behalf of a leading independent provider of autism and ADHD assessments across the UK. This innovative service delivers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults through both NHS-funded and private pathways. Through Service Care Solutions, you will join a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and improving long-term outcomes for families.
The organisation is committed to clinical excellence and clinician wellbeing, equipping staff with cutting-edge digital systems, smart report-writing tools and in-house IT support to reduce administrative burden and enhance clinical impact.
Responsibilities- Conduct face-to-face structured assessments
- Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
- Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions (with senior support where required)
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families
- Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports using smart report-writing tools
- Meet service KPIs through effective caseload management
- Provide clinical supervision where applicable
- Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid roles)
- Minimum 1 year's professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
- HCPC – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist
- NMC – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children's Nurse
- GMC – Medical Practitioners
- Social Work England – Social Worker
- At least 1 year's experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
- Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- We are offering a Welcome Bonus of £250, paid after completion of 150 hours (or equivalent) in your new placement.
