We are working with a leading broadcast and media technology company who are currently recruiting for a Senior Project and Support Engineer to join their team. This role offers a blend of project delivery and technical support, ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on complex systems, engaging directly with customers, and travelling internationally to commission solutions on-site.

The Role

  • You will work across both project and support functions (with a focus on projects), taking ownership of delivering and commissioning software installations while also supporting live customer environments.
  • You will collaborate closely with internal teams including Project Management, Development, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and commission software solutions for customer projects globally.
  • Install, configure, test and integrate systems in line with project plans.
  • Support existing customer systems, diagnosing issues and implementing fixes.
  • Investigate faults, capture logs, replicate issues and raise detailed tickets for development teams.
  • Work closely with engineering and development teams to test and validate fixes prior to release.
  • Provide customer training and technical guidance.
  • Document system configurations and support handover processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery and support processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and support more complex project work.

Requirements

  • Experience within broadcast, media, playout, or similar technical environments.
  • Strong technical and analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Experience delivering projects and/or commissioning systems on-site.
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure including Windows Server, networking, and system performance tools is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as SQL, XML, TCP/IP, and monitoring tools is beneficial.
  • Exposure to broadcast standards, media workflows, or automation systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider global team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
