The team manages a variety of different responsibilities as an internal security service provider including change requests (e.g. firewall changes), upgrades, VM tooling, patches, posture management, handling incidents and some project work.
As Manager, you will make a contribution towards delivery work but your focus will be on managing the workload, managing the team itself, dealing with stakeholders, and working strategically to get ahead of potential future network problems before they arise.

You must have previous staff management experience and your technical security background will ideally include experience of next gen firewalls. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your technical skills with people management, stakeholder management and strategic thinking.
You will be able to work mainly remotely with occasional trips to the Gloucester or London office (usually 1-2 days a month). SC clearance is required so you must be SC eligible (i.e. you must have lived in the UK for 5 years consecutively, without gaps).
