As a Network Consultant you'll play a key role in helping our clients achieve a rapid return on their infrastructure investment while enhancing network performance and efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical support to the sales team to secure new business
- Offer SME-level technical consultancy during project delivery
- Design and plan network architectures tailored to customer needs
- Implement security solutions to safeguard critical infrastructure
- Optimise network routing policies for efficiency and performance
- Lead project implementation, migrations, and technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
- Conduct PoC & TAT (Type Approval Testing)
- Develop and execute migration strategies
- Deliver engaging customer demonstrations (in-person & remote)
- Use network discovery tools to provide assessments and reports
- Enhance automation and orchestration tools for increased efficiency
What We Look For:
Qualifications:
- Degree level or equivalent experience
- JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE or NSE 6/7/8 certifications
- SD-WAN certifications (Aruba SilverPeak & Fortinet preferred)
Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Juniper or Cisco switches/routers and security design
- Expertise in deploying BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN, and L3VPN
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN vendors (preferably Aruba SilverPeak & Fortinet)
- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Cisco NSO)
- Solid grasp of data centre networking, SDN, and NFV
- Experience with SD-Branch, wireless & SASE solutions
- API programming & integration experience
- Knowledge of network monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., ScienceLogic or similar)
- Competence in using network test equipment (preferably IXIA)
