Job Title: Mortgage BrokerLocation: Southend on Sea Salary: £26,000-£30,000 + commission OTE £55-£60kJob Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Every other Saturday with day off in the weekJob Summary:We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Mortgage Broker to join our clients team. The successful candidate will provide expert mortgage advice to clients, guiding them through the home-buying or refinancing process. This role requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and a customer-focused approach.Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored mortgage advice to clients based on their financial circumstances and property goals.Source suitable mortgage products from a panel of lenders.Assist clients with completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth processing.Keep up to date with mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends.Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems.Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.Requirements:CeMAP qualifiedIdeally you will have Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage AdvisorCandidates with CEMAP 1,2, 3 with no experience will also be considered.Strong understanding of mortgage products and the UK property market.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of clients.High level of integrity and professionalism.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Desirable:Experience working with both residential and buy-to-let mortgages.Knowledge of protection products (e.g., life insurance, income protection).Existing client base or network.Benefits:Competitive basic salary plus commission.Pension scheme.Ongoing training and development.Supportive team environment.Career progression opportunitiesFor more details please apply now or email your CV to francesca@a1personnel.co.uk
