Modern Workplace Architect / Application PackagerLocation: Hybrid – 2 days per week on client site in Salisbury area (expensed)Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 per annumSecurity Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance (Sole UK National).About the Role:Join a leading technology consultancy delivering a high-profile Windows 11 transformation program for a key UK government client. Your focus will be on modernising the workplace environment using cloud and endpoint management technologies.You will lead the design, packaging, and deployment of Windows 11 applications, ensuring a smooth migration while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy application packages using tools like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, AdminStudio, and InstallShieldConvert existing packages to MSIX format for cloud-based deploymentCollaborate with stakeholders to align packaging with project goals and security policiesAutomate processes using PowerShell scriptingMaintain thorough documentation of packaging and deployment proceduresProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting supportWhat They\’re Looking For:Extensive experience with Windows application packaging and deployment (MSI, MSIX)Strong knowledge of Windows 11 architecture and modern deployment methodsProficiency with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, AdminStudio, and/or InstallShieldExperience in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentThe role requires SC clearance – must have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years and be sole UK nationals.BenefitsReceive comprehensive benefits, including private healthcare and flexible perks, in an inclusive, supportive work environment that values work–life balance.Enjoy 25 days holiday with options to buy/sell up to 5 additional days.Continuous training, professional development opportunities, and support for certifications
