At Flexzo AI, we're redefining healthcare recruitment through intelligent, AI-powered solutions that connect NHS Trusts directly with compliance-ready healthcare professionals – without the hassle of traditional agencies.

We're looking for a Market Intelligence Specialist to build a data advantage in one of the most complex markets in the world: healthcare workforce and operations. This is not a reporting role. This is about creating signal from noise — turning fragmented, delayed, and often opaque data into something our commercial teams can actually use to win.

You'll combine public sector data (FOI / open records), historical datasets, and real-time market signals to map demand, identify opportunities, and guide where we deploy sales effort.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build proprietary datasets (UK + US)
    • Design and execute Freedom of Information (FOI) requests across NHS trusts
    • Identify and leverage US equivalents (e.g. public records, state disclosures, CMS datasets)
    • Extract and structure historical workforce, spend, and operational data
    • Create lagging indicators that reveal true demand patterns (not just surface-level activity)
  • Layer real-time market signals
    • Aggregate and analyse:
    • Healthcare job postings
    • Agency usage signals
    • Workforce demand spikes
    • Build leading indicators from live data sources
  • Create actionable intelligence
    • Combine lagging + leading indicators into:
    • Geographic heatmaps
    • Account-level opportunity scoring
    • Timing signals for outreach
    • Translate data into clear, visual outputs for sales teams
  • Identify targets and stakeholders
    • Map:
    • High-value healthcare organisations (NHS trusts, hospital systems, urgent care groups)
    • Key decision-makers (C-suite, workforce, operations)
    • Build target account lists by region, segment, and urgency

What "Great" Looks Like

  • Sales teams know exactly where to focus and why
  • We can say with confidence: "These 20 hospitals will have staffing pressure in the next 90 days"
  • Our outreach is timed, targeted, and data-backed
  • We build a data moat competitors can't easily replicate

What We're Looking For

  • Core Skills
    • Experience in market intelligence, data strategy, or analytics
    • Strong ability to work with messy, incomplete, and public datasets
    • Experience with:
    • FOI requests or public sector data (UK or US)
    • Data aggregation (APIs, scraping, or manual sourcing)
    • Ability to turn analysis into clear commercial insight
  • Technical
    • Comfortable with tools like:
    • Python / SQL / data pipelines
    • BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
    • Experience building maps / visualisations is a strong plus
  • Mindset
    • You think in signals, not reports
    • You're comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out from first principles
    • You care about commercial impact, not just data accuracy
