If you are passionate, welcoming and always looking to give that little bit extra to others – we have a role for you.At our newly created London Event Booking Centre, we are seeking a Meeting and Events Supervisor to support the Meetings & Events & Groups department in maximising revenue and fostering strong client relationships through effective and efficient sales techniques and strategies. This role is pivotal in guiding and supporting our Meetings & Events and group sales efforts across our portfolio of London Hotel.This role requires you to work closely with our clients, agents, and team members to drive revenue growth, build and maintain strong relationships with our clients and ensure seamless coordination and delivery of all aspects of the event within dedicated SLA’sKey responsibilities include:Managing and converting incoming Meetings & Events and Group business enquiries according to departmental standards, including but not limited to -proposal negotiation -upsell opportunities, revenue conversion, volume conversion, speed of conversion, business managementResponsible for all post-contract communication, and queries with the client.Be the key point of contact for clients, promoting all versatile meeting and event spaces and ensuring every detail is in place for seamless event execution.To work on behalf of, sell and convert Meetings & Events & Groups business facility.Support the accurate production of daily, weekly & monthly management information.Working with central team and management teams to propose efficiencies and improvements as appropriate and adapt according to system and process changes required for the department.Managing site visits – for clients, bookers and event suppliersWhat you’ll bringProven experience in working in a busy, fast paced Meeting & Events department, ideally within a cluster role.Ability to resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within the guidelines issuedUp-to-date knowledge of competitor hotels and venuesA strong understanding of the event booking processAs this customer facing role, you will require exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and in person.Organisational expertise and commercial awareness.Positive and passionate approach.In return we offer:Social Events, Wellbeing and Team ActivitiesTraining and developmentPension Salary Sacrifice SchemeCareer development and salary reviewsInterest-free Season Ticket Loan Scheme1 Volunteer Days per year (fully paid and in addition to your annual leave)Complimentary meals prepared for you by our chefsLength of Service related holiday schemeMy Millennium discount perksDiscount on Accommodation worldwide and 50% Food and Beverage OutletsLife AssuranceRecommend a Friend Scheme
