The Opportunity
Eaton Syalon are supporting a large, nationwide organisation within the social care sector on a high-impact income optimisation project. Significant work has already been undertaken to identify gaps in funding, historic underpayments, and inconsistencies in fee structures. The next phase β and the focus of this role β is driving the commercial outcome.
This is a front-facing, commercially focused interim assignment, working directly with Local Authorities and NHS commissioning teams to renegotiate fee positions, secure uplifts, and influence long-term pricing strategy.
The Role
- Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of progressing this project into delivery:
- Lead discussions with commissioners to address fee discrepancies, uplifts, and back-payments
- Translate detailed financial analysis into clear, commercially robust narratives
- Negotiate and influence across Local Authority and NHS stakeholders
- Support the development of a more structured and sustainable pricing approach
- Drive momentum and ensure the organisation achieves tangible financial outcomes

About You
We are looking for a commercially credible professional who is comfortable operating in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments. You will bring:
- Proven experience in negotiation and stakeholder management at a senior level
- A strong understanding of pricing, funding, or income streams
- The confidence to balance commercial acumen with sensitivity in a care-led environment
- Experience within social care, healthcare, Local Authority or NHS commissioning environments would be highly advantageous.
