Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join a government-backed project, delivering a large-scale CRM platform within a UK public sector department. The programme is focused on building a critical system used by civil servants to better support UK citizens, improving service delivery, case management, and overall user experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, configuration, and customisation of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, working across core service processes and user workflows. This will include implementing scalable features, enhancing automation, and ensuring the platform meets both technical and operational requirements in a secure, regulated environment.

This is a fully remote position based in the UK and is a 6 month rolling contract (Inside IR35).

Must haves:
  • Active Security Clearance (company will validate and transfer) – required to have worked in a cleared role within the last 12 months
  • Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce Flow development, including complex process automation.
  • Solid experience in Apex programming, including writing efficient and well-tested code.
Plusses:
  • Proven experience with DevOps practices, including source code management (e.g., Git), branching, pull requests, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Jira for issue tracking, including user story management.
  • Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
