Kick-start your engineering career at the centre of the UK's transition to low-carbon energy. This opportunity sits within a leading international energy business delivering large-scale renewable projects across the UK. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of clean energy assets while building the technical and commercial foundations of a long-term engineering career.

This is a structured 24-month graduate programme with rotations across key project phases, alongside exposure to the wider business. High performers will progress into a permanent engineering role within the renewables function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Rotating across development, construction and operational phases of renewable energy projects
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of wind, solar and battery storage projects across the UK
  • Contributing to technical assessments, feasibility studies and engineering design reviews
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, commercial analysts and environmental specialists
  • Gaining broader business exposure through a rotation outside of the core renewables team
  • Analysing project data and producing reports to support investment and operational decisions
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing ideas to enhance delivery

Key criteria:

  • Degree of 2:1 or higher in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science or a related discipline (completed or due to be completed)
  • Genuine interest in renewable energy and the transition to a low-carbon economy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn in varied project environments
  • Full UK driving licence desirable due to site visits

Location: London (hybrid working model), with occasional travel to project sites across the UK
