We are working with a client who has exciting opportunities for talented Fire Engineers at various levels to join an established fire engineering business based in multiple locations, including Manchester, London and Dublin. Responsibilities
- Depending on level and experience, you will have the opportunity to work on and/or manage large and complex projects, ensuring high-quality delivery for key clients.
- Work on a wide variety of projects across the UK and internationally, covering multiple building types and sectors.
- Demonstrate proficiency in CFD modelling (e.g., smoke movement analysis).
- Use fire modelling tools such as CFAST, PyroSim, and Pathfinder to develop alternative fire engineering strategies.
- Work within and/or manage and support a team of engineers, offering guidance, mentoring, and training to graduates.
- Conduct on-site visits and fire safety surveys on various building types.
- Support business development activities, helping to grow the team's project pipeline and client base.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A background in fire engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- A degree (BEng/MEng or higher) in Fire Engineering or a related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering.
- Ideally working toward Chartered Engineer status.
- The right to work in the UK.
