My client, one of the UK's largest independently employee-owned BMS companies, is seeking a seasoned BEMS Support Engineer to join their vibrant Data Centres Support Division. This is an onsite role where passion for innovation and technical excellence thrives within a culture centered on growth, collaboration, and wellbeing.

Location Requirements

Candidates must be located within a comfortable travelling distance of Slough, West Drayton, or Hayes.

What You'll Do

  • Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Produce concise reports from PPM visits, submitted promptly in line with customer KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate schedules and trackers of maintenance works for full visibility to both the company and the customer.
  • Carry out small repairs, remedial works, and routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Respond to customer service calls in the event of system failures.
  • Document all service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with Schneider EcoStruxure is expected. Advantageous experience includes Tridium, Trend, IQVision, or ALC, though training will be provided for other systems.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience within the building controls industry and a solid understanding of mechanical plant. Experience within data centre environments is highly favourable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Availability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including participation in an emergency/breakdown on-call rota.
  • Essential Qualifications: Full UK driving licence, PC literacy, and a valid CSCS skill card (or equivalent).
