The Role

  • Own multiple £10m-£60m transactions across their sector-agnostic SME client base.
  • Project manage complex M&A deals for owner-managed businesses and PE funds.
  • Draft investment memoranda, identify potential buyers/investors, complete detailed analysis and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Lead stakeholder discussions with buyers, sellers, and advisers.
  • Financial modelling (DCFs, LBOs) and completion deliverables.
  • Leverage your network to generate new mandates and build relationships.

Requirements

  • C.5+ years proven M&A deal execution experience.
  • Strong deal sheet with multiple completed transactions.
  • Owner-managed business expertise and broad M&A skillset.
  • Big 4/Top 10, boutique CF, or investment banking background.
  • Lower mid-market focus with SME/entrepreneur experience.
  • Established professional network.
