A leading global insurer is seeking an experienced and skilled Loss Adjuster to handle high value property claims within the Norwich and Suffolk area. If youβre passionate about exceptional claims service, experienced in loss adjusting in the domestic property sector and would like to work for a leading insurer with excellent benefits and career development, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-value domestic property claims (typically Β£50kβΒ£100k+), managing each case from first instruction through settlement.
- Work from home while travelling to policyholders across the UK; flexible hours (some evenings/weekends).
- Control claim spend within your financial authority and produce clear ABI-standard reports.
- Coordinate contractors, assess reinstatement works, and monitor progress to completion.
- Deliver empathetic, customer-first service and maintain first-class file quality.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven track record with complex or major loss property claims.
- Cert CII / Cert CILA (Dip level desirable).
- Solid grasp of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting, and building-practice regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and residence within travel distance of Norwich.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
