We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Therapy Lead to join a flagship mental health service, overseeing therapy provision across a large-scale inpatient and outpatient setting. This is a purely managerial and operational role with no clinical caseload, offering an excellent opportunity for a senior therapist ready to step into a high-impact leadership position.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, coordination, and oversight of therapy services across CAMHS and Eating Disorder wards within a 100-bed inpatient hospital, alongside extensive outpatient services. Leading a team of approximately 20 therapists, you will ensure high standards of care, strong team performance, and effective service delivery across multiple pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership to a multidisciplinary therapy team
  • Oversee daily operations and service delivery across inpatient and outpatient therapy services
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of around 20 therapists
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent therapeutic provision across CAMHS and ED services
  • Drive performance, engagement, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support operational excellence

Requirements

  • Qualified therapist (essential)
  • Proven experience leading and managing therapy teams
  • Strong leadership presence – approachable, visible, and decisive
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working with complex teams and services
  • Experience within CAMHS and/or Eating Disorders is desirable but not essential

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a flagship service, offering both scale and complexity. You will play a key role in shaping and leading therapy services within a well-established, high-performing environment. If you are a confident leader with a strong therapy background and a passion for operational excellence, this role offers the next step in your career.
