A major UK health and life insurance provider is hiring a Senior Data Scientist (AI) on a 12-month FTC basis to support a rapidly growing AI function focused on GenAI products and operational automation. The team is building production-grade AI applications across underwriting, customer journeys, internal operations, and sales enablement.
The role sits within a growing AI team delivering live LLM applications and intelligent automation systems. You'll work on high-impact products with strong internal visibility, alongside experienced Data Scientists and AI Engineers.
Role SummaryYou'll help design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using both traditional ML and modern LLM tooling. Projects include AI sales assistants, underwriting automation, internal summarisation systems, and workflow efficiency tools.
