The GTM Sales Operations Senior Associate is a highly visible role within one of the fastest growing brands in consumer internet. The role acts as an advisor to executives in the go-to-market, global sales and operations teams and is responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational issues facing the Talent Solutions business. Our GTM Sales Strategy & Operations team is at the core of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, enabling us on our journey to become the true B2B talent solutions partner that top companies need. This position offers a candidate an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of the largest portion of LinkedIn’s overall business, interact with LinkedIn’s most senior sales professionals, and transition into an operating role with one of the fastest growing companies on the web.

The associate is responsible for leading, executing and scaling operational and planning processes e.g. building sales territories, setting sales targets, forecasting in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Sales LT, Finance, Pricing). The Senior Associate should have strong strategic mindset and communications skills and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical business decisions. The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, be open minded to challenge the status quo and work on a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide recommendations on a variety of decision-making projects that will shape LinkedIn’s future go-to-market model
  • Act like an owner in driving strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations (e.g. customer segmentation, headcount, financial and territory planning, quota setting)
  • Track business performance and provide insights and recommendations to advise sales leadership on forecasting
  • Lead operational processes of the sales organization, such as: quota management, territory allocation, audits, report and dashboard development
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Sales Operations teams and cross functional partners (business operations, sales leadership, compensation, finance and systems teams) to achieve objectives
  • Process improvement: gather requirements and project manage changes to our processes and sales technology that result in improvements in sales productivity or efficiency
  • Drive performance and targets accountability across teams.
  • Drive a culture of results and focus across teams

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, sales operations, business operations, or an analytical/operational role
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel, SQL and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
  • Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards with salesforce.com, Tableau, SQL or other relevant sales metric tools and programs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to mobilize cross function teams towards a common goal
  • Deep interest in analysing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics
  • Creative thinker, with an eye for design and meticulous attention to detail
