Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality digital services within a large-scale public sector environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong automation and performance testing experience, who can work collaboratively within agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
- Ensure quality across the full software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Conduct performance testing and contribute to test strategy
- Identify defects, risks, and areas for improvement
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in test automation using:
- Java
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Playwright
- Experience in performance testing
- Proven ability to work in agile delivery environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working within a government or public sector organisation
Additional Information
Candidates must be eligible to undergo BPSS clearance. Occasional travel to a UK hub office is required (1–2 times per month).
