Role Purpose: As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure all relevant works are carried out on electrical and mechanical systems (PPM and reactive maintenance), liaise and book in contractors, troubleshoot / fault find on systems, liaise with the client and respond to their needs.

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (C&G/EAL/NVQ or equivalent), at least 5 years experience working within commercial maintenance, and a good understanding of commercial M&E systems.

Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Duties:

  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
  • Conducting client meetings
  • Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations / Engineering
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
  • Career driven and motivated
  • Polite and personable
