Based Hybrid in Central London commutable from Cambridge, the Embedded Linux Kernel Engineer will be working on the development of a range of Embedded Software to host and monitor high-speed networks. The Embedded Linux Engineer will be working with a company developing AI/ML Technologies for datacentres for a sustainable future. The company can sponsor, if required, but would prefer not to.
Responsibilities:
- Software architecture definition of Embedded Software Development within network interface technology.
- Linux PCIe driver development, which is an essential requirement.
- Network control and working with prototype hardware to identify root cause issues.
Requirements:
- A good relevant degree with a strong commercial background in Linux Kernel Development.
- Hands-on experience in embedded development, ideally in a product development environment.
- Strong experience working with PCIe.
- Experience with C/C++ and Python.
