We're looking for a Data Architect to define and govern data architecture across complex programmes. You'll set data strategy, design modern cloud data platforms, and provide technical leadership to delivery teams working in regulated environments.

What you'll have the opportunity to do as a Data Architect:

  • Define and own enterprise and domain data architecture
  • Design cloud‐based data platforms (lake, warehouse, lakehouse)
  • Establish data standards, governance, and modelling approaches
  • Translate business requirements into architectural designs and roadmaps
  • Govern delivery across data engineering and analytics teams
  • Engage with senior technical and non‐technical stakeholders

About the Candidate:

The right Data Architect should have:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or senior data engineer
  • Strong data modelling background (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS data services
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality
  • Comfortable operating in public sector or regulated environments
  • Eligible for SC clearance (5+ years continuous UK residency)
