An established and fast-growing technology services provider is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to deliver cloud and network solutions across a diverse client base. This role involves a mix of project delivery, technical escalation, and client-facing support, requiring strong technical expertise alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and implement cloud and network projects (including Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Intune)
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex 3rd line technical issues across infrastructure, servers, and networking
  • Provide support services to both contracted and non-contracted clients, ensuring SLA compliance
  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including technical design, surveys, and solution recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Recommend and contribute to improvements in technical processes and service delivery
  • Support and mentor junior engineers where required
  • Participate in out-of-hours support on a rota basis (optional)

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience delivering cloud and infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, and Intune
  • Solid understanding of networking, servers, virtualisation, storage, and security
  • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and desktop issues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet service deadlines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications (any of the following or equivalent)

  • Degree or diploma in IT / Computer Science
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCP, MCSE, Azure Administrator)
  • Cisco CCNA
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
