The Role
- Leadership: Leading shifts, allocating tasks, and ensuring safe staffing levels.
- Safeguarding: Promoting best practices and ensuring children are protected from harm in line with statutory guidance.
- Care & Support: Providing nurturing care that promotes emotional well-being, independence, and social development.
- Key Working: Developing positive relationships with allocated children and contributing to placement planning.
- Collaboration: Working with social workers, health professionals, and education providers to ensure positive outcomes.
What You'll Need
- Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential).
- Experience: Proven experience working with children and young people.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with a solid knowledge of safeguarding.
- License: A full UK Driving License.
- Knowledge: An understanding of trauma-informed care and Ofsted regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
Package & Shift Pattern
- Salary: Competitive and Negotiable (Base starting at £14.50 PH + £60 per sleep-in).
- Hours: Shift work including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.
