ConsultANZ is looking for a Maintenance Contracts Manager to join a well-established civil contractor in the roading industry, delivering a high-value road maintenance contract in Hamilton & Wellington, New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for delivering a large-scale urban road maintenance contract, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting against contract requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams across ongoing maintenance activities.
- Drive the planning and execution of works to ensure efficient and compliant delivery outcomes.
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings, representing contract performance and progress.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong background in civil infrastructure or road maintenance contract delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and subcontractors.
- Experience working within council or public sector infrastructure frameworks advantageous.
- Strong understanding of contract delivery, commercial controls, and reporting.
