Senior Backend Engineer – Mobile - Fully Remote Anywhere in UK & Europe! £115,000
I'm working with a high-growth, consumer-facing mobile platform used by millions globally, who are building out a brand new monetisation engineering function. They've recently evolved into a more mature, product-led engineering organisation with dedicated squads aligned to Product, and are now hiring a backend engineer to sit at the centre of how they generate revenue.
This is a high-impact role focused on building and scaling the systems behind subscriptions, payments and pricing - owning the reliability and performance of the monetisation funnel end-to-end.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and building scalable backend systems that power subscriptions, billing and pricing logic
- Owning the performance, reliability and correctness of revenue-critical systems
- Working closely with Product and Data to support experimentation, analytics and growth initiatives
- Helping shape how monetisation is built as the business continues to scale
Tech stack:
- Node.js
- TypeScript
- AWS
- DynamoDB

- Strong backend engineering experience in high-scale, consumer-facing products
- Experience working on business-critical systems (payments, subscriptions, or similar high-throughput environments)
