Legal ExecutiveRemoteASAP – 1 month StartInternational Contract recruitment business.I am supporting my client in looking for a Legal Executive to join their Compliance and Legal function in the UK. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2+ years of experience within a similar role in an international contract recruitment agency.MUST HAVE STRONG CLIENT TERM REVIEW SKILLS.Responsibilities include:Manage the end-to-end contract review process, including reviewing, negotiating and finalising client terms, obtaining internal approvals and managing flow-down to contractors.Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g. MSAs, Agreements, NDA etc), identifying and addressing legal and commercial risks.Prepare risk assessments for new or amended contracts and provide clear recommendations to the leadership and wider team.Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams on amendments, renewals, and escalations Support contractual negotiations and ensure alignment on legal and compliance matters.Provide guidance on regulatory requirements including IR35, AWR and Conduct Regulations.Oversee IR35 process including determinations. Complete Key Information Documents and ensure all contractor compliance checks are completed in line with legal obligations.Maintain and update standard terms and templates; upload and manage contractual data in CRM (Bullhorn).Act as the main point of contact for Umbrella Companies, managing onboarding, due diligence and resolving queries.Support internal audits and reporting on contract status, new placements and compliance gaps.Assist with legal inbox, triage queries and respond to contract-related requests from internal teams.Support ongoing compliance projects and provide cover for senior legal colleagues when needed.Core CompetenciesProactively responds to business and stakeholder requests, balancing priorities to meet commercial and legal objectives.Effectively completes compliance checks for key clients, ensuring high standards are maintained.Prioritises tasks based on urgency and business impact, consistently delivering within agreed timeframes.Recognised for reliability and quality of output through positive stakeholder feedback.
