We're supporting a specialist provider to appoint an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to provide clinical and professional leadership within a women's mental health service. This senior role is ideal for an OT who is passionate about occupation‐focused practice, service development, and supporting more junior colleagues within a complex clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for occupational therapy services across the ward(s)
  • Lead on assessment, intervention planning, and outcome measurement
  • Promote and embed occupation‐focused practice within the MDT
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance to OT colleagues
  • Lead on audit, service improvement, and evidence‐based practice
  • Contribute to risk management, governance, and quality assurance processes

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Significant post‐qualification experience within mental health services
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and service development
