We are seeking a talented, hands-on MEP engineer wishing to take on a leadership role and eager to make a real impact on Trident, our exceptional client base and on the sector more widely. The purpose is to develop a sustainability led MEP solution that supports our clients from initial assessments to feasibility studies, design and through to practical completion.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high quality advice and support to our clients:
- Support condition surveys, asset and portfolio reviews and vendor reports with MEP inspections and advisory surveys.
- Develop MEP and decarbonisation strategies and feasibility studies to support clients' commercial and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee, review and support the development of practical, low carbon and innovative MEP designs for existing portfolios, refurbishments and development projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, monitoring progress, costs & quality, providing solutions to construction challenges to support delivery.
- Oversee the commissioning and handover of MEP systems to clients and ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, safety regulations and client requirements.
- Establish our propositions, processes, tools and marketing materials in partnership with our business development teams to support the growth of our MEP services.
- Establish relationships across Trident and with our clients to identify and develop MEP opportunities that will deliver on our shared decarbonisation goals.
- Grow a high performing and collaborative team over time.
- Build on Trident's excellent network of partners to engage with industry to raise your and Trident's profile.
Skills and qualifications
- Extensive MEP engineering & consulting capability, with deep technical expertise.
- Relevant qualifications such as building services, mechanical or electrical engineering degrees.
- Strong experience through the project lifecycle, from feasibility to detailed design and delivery.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit and IES.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, cost control and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent client management ability, with a strong track record of leading and winning bids.
- Experience in developing low-carbon MEP solutions aligned to organisations' net zero targets.
- Experience in commissioning & handover, ensuring compliance with industry standards & regulations.
- Strong team leadership, able to provide technical leadership and mentoring.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
