What we're looking for:
- 5+ years experience building service-oriented software products end to end, ideally at early-stage startups
- A strong understanding of AI-based developer tools, methods and paradigms
- Generalist mindset with experience across the full stack
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling
- Comfortable owning products and features end to end, and taking responsibility for performance and optimisation
- Strong communicator, able to distribute knowledge across the team effectively through documentation, talks, demos and presentations
What you'll do:
- Build and own core backend services for our commerce infrastructure tools, including billing, workflows, and financial operations
- Build features that integrate AI into real-world product experiences
- Play a key role in software architecture design, including research, writing POCs for further refinement
How we hire:
- Initial call with the founder (30 mins)
- Complete a take home exercise
- Task review and pair programming with a team member (1 hour)
- Meet with the product team for 2-way interview (30 mins)
- Offer stage (including reference checks)
