Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote)

We need an experienced Back End Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable services underpinning a Sitecore-based digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop back end services using .NET / C# to support Sitecore-driven websites and platforms
  • Build and maintain integrations between Sitecore and internal systems such as CRM, identity, and other enterprise platforms
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support headless or API-driven architectures
  • Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, security, and maintainability across back end services
  • Collaborate closely with front end engineers within an agile digital squad to deliver user-focused solutions
  • Support configuration, deployment, and ongoing optimisation of back end components
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement practices
Must-Have Skills:
  • 6–7 years' experience as a Back End Engineer
  • Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#
  • Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS and Sitecore integrations
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles
  • Experience working in agile delivery teams
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with headless Sitecore implementations
  • Knowledge of CRM and identity service integrations
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
  • DevOps or CI/CD exposure
