This is a hands-on engineering role, working with state-of-the-art mechanical and HVAC systems in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping our systems running efficiently, safely and reliably – and you’ll be empowered to share ideas, solve problems and take ownership of your impact.
What you’ll be doing:

- Use BMS, CMS and other systems to monitor, optimise and log system performance
- Work with the maintenance team on site walk-throughs, risk assessments and permit-to-work processes
- Liaise with internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes
- Act as first responder to any issues affecting critical systems, helping to resolve and learn from incidents
- Support planned and reactive maintenance schedules with documentation and continuous improvement in mind
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified engineer with at least 4 years’ post-certification experience in mechanical/HVAC environments
- Confident working independently or as part of a team in a high-integrity environment
- Someone who brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow their expertise

Essential qualifications and experience:
- HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- F-Gas Cat 1 (City & Guilds)
- Professional certification such as NCC or REC (or national equivalent)
- Legionella awareness
- Experience maintaining HVAC systems in complex or critical environments (data centre experience a plus)
What we offer:
- The opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company at the cutting edge of digital infrastructure
- A supportive environment that values safety, inclusion, and professional development
- Structured progression and access to ongoing training and mentoring
At Pure DC, we value difference and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities. We’re committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve – and to creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
