As Lead Consultant you will have responsibility for assisting clients to transform their finance, supply chain and procurement functions through advisory, implementation and support activities with a focus on leveraging SAP based technologies.You will play a leading role in your area of expertise with the aim to successfully deliver and implement projects within the agreed scope to the highest level of quality. You will be leading a team of consultants within a workstream of a large project or acting as a project manager in smaller engagements. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and assigning activities to your project team as well as engaging with senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Act as project/functional lead and ensure project deliverables are executed on time and to budgetDocument clients process flow to capture as is/to be processWrite requirement and specification documents capturing client needsConfigure system in line with requirements and specification documentsDevelop testing scripts in line with configured system and client requirementExecute and support on client testingPrepare and deliver presentations to support the engagement and workshops with clientsWork effectively with senior stake holders and project teamMaintain application knowledge as assigned to business process areasSolve a company’s business requirements through the blending of people, process and technologyDirect and assign project task to team members and providing ongoing support through coaching, mentoringIdentify ‘deviations’ and take appropriate corrective actionEffectively transfer design and configuration knowledge to team members and provide ‘Best Business Practice’ knowledge to aid in the design processSupport the sales team with presales activities including demos, RFP responses and technical discovery workshopsPerformance IndicatorsDrive the overall success of the project workstreamPerforming assigned tasks on time to the highest quality/standardBuilds high performing teams by providing clear accountabilities, coaching and mentoringIdentifying business development opportunities within projects and handing over to sales teamDemonstrates a working understanding of accelerated implementation methodology and tools especially an AGILE templated methodology to cover client implementation and rollouts.Constantly Seeking opportunities to develop and expand knowledgePersonal AttributesTakes accountability/ownership for the projects assigned to themNatural “improver” and aspires to drive changeStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in order to find a solutionHaving the patience and tenacity to work through complex problemsAbility to influence and motivate othersKnowledgeStrong understanding of business processes within Purchase to Pay (P2P) and wider Source to PayIdeally Certified in SAP AribaUnderstanding of project methodologies e.g AGILE, Prince2, SAP ActivateExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years\’ experience in a broad range of digital procurement technologies i.e. Fairmarkit, ZIP, ServiceNow, OROStrong procurement process best practice advisory experience in areas such as Buying Channels, Policy, Operating modelExperience having worked on multiple life cycle implementation as Consultant/Lead Consultant on business transformation engagementsExperience leading project teams including onshore/offshore modelsHighly experienced in leading client workshops and requirement gathering sessionsExternal consulting experience is a strong desirablePresales experience an advantage
