Help shape the future of finance at a global crypto exchange that has surpassed over $1 trillion in trading volume. Ideally, you’ve engineered systems in trading or investment environments, where infrastructure must move at the speed of the market, scale under pressure, and stay secure in the face of constant change.
You’ll design, deploy and manage scalable, secure and resilient cloud infrastructure hosted on both GCP and AWS. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in optimising cost, performance and security across a globally regulated platform. There’s a strong focus on automation here - you’ll automate cloud operations and infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
You’ll ideally have proven experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking and security components in a high-availability environment.
Location: 3x days per week in Central London
Salary: up to £140k + bonus
Though they operate on a global scale, the London team is lean (~50 users). You won't just support the platform, you'll help shape it. As a Technical Lead, you'll guide and mentor 1x Engineer initially. The firm has ambitious growth plans - this team could scale to 7-8 people within the next 12 months. You'll need to be comfortable leading technical discussions and facing off with Senior Stakeholders.
