Are you looking for a Lab Based role? Do you have experience of working in a fast paced , varied environment? A successful food testing Lab are currently seeking multiple Lab Technicians to start immediately , initially on a temporary basis. The role will involve working in the lab, utilising a variety of Chemical techniques to analyse food samples, as well as preparing samples for off site analysis. This would be an ideal role if you have a scientific education/background and some experience of working in a fast paced and varied role.Role OverviewProduct sampling and environmental swabbing. Preparing samples and reagents for laboratory testing.Perform a range of chemical analyses of food products. Work collaboratively across departments. Ensure all work is conducted in line with Good Manufacturing Practice GMP and all other relevant standards and regulations. 12 hour shifts of 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM. £14-£16ph DOE. RequirementsEducation in a Scientific Discipline such as a Degree in a relevant discipline would be highly beneficial.Some prior full time working experience (from any industry) is essential.Excellent Communication Skills and Attention to Detail.Proactive and analytical approach to work.Available to begin immediately and able to commute to site near Bodmin.
