An opportunity to join one of the UK's most innovative DeepTech Medical Imaging start-ups. This company is developing a new generation of low-dose 3D radiography systems that will significantly improve the accessibility and cost of advanced medical imaging.

The team are looking for a Product Cyber Security Engineer to support the security of next-generation imaging systems as they move from R&D into commercial deployment. Working with engineering and DevOps teams, you will help embed cybersecurity into the product lifecycle and support the organisation's overall security posture.

About the Role

  • Lead product cybersecurity lifecycle activities for 3D imaging systems
  • Manage vulnerability monitoring, triage and risk management
  • Support compliance with standards such as IEC 81001-5-1
  • Drive continuous improvement in the secure design and development of our products across different verticals including medical and veterinary imaging, and non-destructive testing
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction and maintain compliance
  • As part of the DevOps team, contribute to the selection and integration of appropriate security tools and workflows to embed security at the heart of the development process
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant cyber threats, trends and publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, acting as a subject matter expert
  • Advise and collaborate with stakeholders across the business on maintaining secure business systems
  • Contribute to production support and incident response activities as required
  • Maintain up-to-date product security documentation

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in cybersecurity, product security or DevSecOps
  • Experience working with engineering teams to integrate security into development
  • Experience in regulated or process-driven environments is advantageous

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, Windows or embedded systems beneficial
