This is a hands-on, detail-focused role with real impact on manufacturing performance and product integrity. Working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming materials and components meet strict technical and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Inspect and verify incoming components against engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T)
- Ensure full compliance, traceability, and documentation accuracy
- Identify and manage non-conforming materials, raising and progressing NCRs
- Use manual inspection equipment to validate dimensions, finishes, and quality standards
- Support supplier quality performance and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain inspection throughput to meet production demands
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within engineering/manufacturing
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings & tolerances (GD&T)
- Hands-on experience with manual measurement tools
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Experience working within structured quality systems (e.g. ISO / AS9100)
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and quality teams
