Role- Junior Electronics EngineerSalary- £27,000- £32,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise)Type- PermanentLocation- BristolMy client designs and manufactures a range of electro-mechanical products, and they are looking to take on a Graduate Electronics Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Bristol area.The Junior Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:BSc/ BEng/ HNC qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar Placement or industry experience working in a similar electronics / manufacturing environment would be desirable. 1 year or more experience is preferred doing electronics designReal-time embedded C experienceExperience of design for manufacture and full product life-cyclePCB layout and schematic design experience would be preferredBe able to use standard electronic tools such as Spectrum Analysers and OscilloscopesHave had exposure to developing firmware with STM32Any of the following skills would be desirable but not essential – RTOS, Python, GUI, Wi-Fi and BluetoothBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamHave good communication skills both verbal and writtenExcellent problem-solving skillsBe presentable and self-motivatedThe Junior Electronics Engineer role will involve:Working as part of the engineering R&D teamDesigning and developing integrated firmware solutionsBeing involved with the design and documentation processCarrying out PCB designWriting and editing system firmwareBeing involved in feasibility studiesPerforming integration testing in line with project schedulesTroubleshooting applications, software, hardware and integrated systemsProducing technical documents and handbooksUsing problem solving skillsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
