IT Environment Manager

An opportunity to work with us on a permanent basis has been announced for an IT Environment Manager, you will play a fundamental role managing the technical environment within the organisation. You will ensure the setup, configure, maintain the cloud environment as well as the infrastructure setup.The right person for this role will have expert knowledge working with development teams, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders within the business to make sure the operations run smoothly and effectively.Role: IT Environment ManagerContract: PermanentSalary: £70,000-£80,000Location: Manchester (hybrid 2/3 days a week on site)Benefits: 28 days AL, 15% bonus, 15% pension, Private Healthcare.Key skills required for this role: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, visualisation technology and Network management5-7 years’ experience managing IT environments, system administration or DevOpsHands on cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)Experienced working with automation tools such as (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef)CI/CD pipeline exposureDemonstratable knowledge of Security best practise and complianceContainerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)The right candidate for this position will be able to comfortably operate in a cloud environment and will be able to demonstrate their experience through previous project work.
