HMH is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Inspector to join its Kintore workshop team. This role is focused on practical inspection and day-to-day quality support within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for dimensional and visual inspections across receiving, in‐process, and final stages, supporting workshop activities and ensuring inspection records and documentation are maintained accurately through digital systems. The role involves managing NCRs, supporting audit activity, and signing off release documentation prior to engineering review. This is an onsite, workshop‐based position suited to inspectors who enjoy practical quality work and close collaboration with production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing dimensional and visual inspections on manufactured components
- Receiving inspection and final release documentation
- Managing NCRs and inspection records within ERP systems
- Supporting audits and general quality activities within the workshop
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
About you:
- Experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or workshop environment (however the role might suit a Machinist who wants to move into a QC role)
- Exposure to ISO 9001-controlled operations
- Confident working with inspection tools, drawings, and digital quality systems
- Comfortable working hands-on in an onsite workshop role
