We are working with a prestigious, high-performing international law firm to find an experienced Infrastructure Services Analyst (SFIA Level 3/4) to join their well-established IT Operations team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for infrastructure, looking to work in a people-focused, technically excellent environment. The team prides itself on delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly systems, and you’ll play a key part in making that happen across their global network.
The role
You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the firm’s infrastructure estate, covering servers, storage, firewalls, networks (WAN, LAN, WiFi), internet, and unified communications. You’ll also play a hands-on role in infrastructure projects, from planning through to implementation, while ensuring everything aligns with best practice and firm policies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure technologies including Azure, VMWare, Windows Server, NetApp, Cato, Mist, and more.
- Proactively managing patching, backups, and vulnerability remediation using tools like Rapid7, Rubrik, and Commvault.
- Collaborating with IT Security and Service Delivery teams to ensure a secure and robust environment.
- Troubleshooting issues, documenting configurations, and supporting change management processes.
- Providing emergency support and occasional out-of-hours cover as needed.
What they’re looking for:
- At least 8 years' experience in infrastructure or systems admin roles, ideally in a complex, international setting.
- Strong technical skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, storage and networking.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to support both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience working in an ITIL/ISO 27001 environment is a big plus.
- Certifications such as VCP, AZ-104, ITIL, or Juniper Mist are desirable but not essential if you bring the right experience.
